housepants

tonight, today, was good. ran into marlene at the salvation army who was just the person i needed to run into. then went to the movies with bobby and franco, and the diner. i miss the diner. the diner rules.

but the best was hanging out at shawn's. there's nothing better than reading my column to the people who are actually in it. collin was dying when i read the handjob one and everyone was bugging over the vice guide to jr high. we drove around, smoked, laughed. everyone packed into the car all tight, everyone bugging out. now i remember why we stayed out all night. we never wanted anything to end. we used to drive and drive, from one spot to another. smoking weed, looking for people. looking for our friends in places that no one else went to at night. certain parking lots look way different during the day. in the day, they dont mean anything to me at all. they are just functioning lots and spaces. but at night the meaning totally changes. LISA, the atrium, stillwell, the train station, railroad ave, woodbury commons. i wonder if the places stay the same but the people change? no. can't be. kids invent their own boom spots every year.

2 radio stations want to interview me because of vice? weird. i hope that actually happens. tommorrow i'm going to queens with ally and steve. where does he live? whitestone? i wonder if stos is still in jail and i wonder if sam knows him. i wonder how sam is doing in there. i should visit him. rikers island. poor kid.

what happened to housepants?
