i know i put a lot of pressure on myself and sometimes it seems a little overboard.

i guess the not so secret secret is that i like the way it feels to churn shit out. to push myself. maybe even lose my hair sometimes.

i have to like it, otherwise i wouldn't be doing it.

maybe some people don't have to work as hard. maybe some people spin hay into gold in a matter of minutes.
maybe some people have it easy like that. i have never been one of those people, and to be honest, it's not really a problem for me anymore.

if there is one thing i've learned from living in new york is that in order to play hard, you have to work hard.

that, and always keep your cartons of cigarettes in the freezer.
